Here's The STory
Jack Padgett is a playwright, screenwriter, and author currently living in Atlanta, Georgia. His plays have been produced across multiple states in the southeast, and several of his screenplays have been recognized by College Broadcasters, Inc., the Rome International Film Festival, and the Pinnacle Awards, among others. He received his B.A. in Creative Writing with a minor in Theatre from Berry College in May of 2019.
He currently works with the Horizon Theatre Company as a playwriting apprentice, writing three separate plays on commission for produced runs with up-and-coming Atlanta actors. He has also worked as an associate show producer for Viking Fusion, Berry’s own multimedia production studio. His prose, poetry, and plays have appeared in magazines such as "Ramifications" and "The Southern Literary Festival Magazine," and he has extensive experience with improv comedy.
Jack grew up in Owensboro, Kentucky with two parents and a progressively greater number of younger siblings that eventually ended in six.
